Batman: The Telltale Series Releases Episode 2 Trailer

Developer and publisher Telltale Games releases a brand new trailer for the second installment of its episodic title for the Dark Knight in Batman: The Telltale Series.

Following the recent reveal of this month’s release date for Episode 2 of Batman: The Telltale Series, developers have now put out a brand new trailer for the next installment for the game known as “Children of Arkham.” The second full-fledged piece of content for the title is set to provide a continuation to the story found within the title’s initial entry of Episode 1: Realm of Shadows.

As seen in the latest trailer for Batman: The Telltale Series below, the Caped Crusader gets fed information about the Wayne family’s possible ties to Gotham City’s corrupt mafia underworld, as well as the organization known as the Children of Arkham. Of course, it’s up to Batman to get to the bottom of the case, and along with help from the likes of Selina Kyle (AKA Catwoman), Bruce Wayne’s alter-ego in the Dark Knight intends to inflict swift justice upon those who wish to bring harm to his city.

Batman: The Telltale Series‘ Children of Arkham is scheduled to launch on September 20 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One by way of digital mediums such as Steam and GOG. Fans can also purchase the game on disc now, as physical copies officially launched on September 13. For those unaware, the disc version includes the Season Pass, which has the first episode, with the remainder of the initial run of entries unlocking digitally throughout the rest of the year, as Season 1’s end date lies within 2016.

Although fans of Batman: The Telltale Series are surely excited to continue the game’s story with Children of Arkham, one can only hope that its release isn’t plagued with the performance bugs and glitches of the previous episode. As it happens, not only did PS4 an Xbox One versions suffer from issues on day one, but also PC players reported their fair share of errors as well, with fans encountering lagging, frame rate drops, and much more. In fact, the PC problems were so prevalent, many gamers took to the title’s Steam page to leave a slew of negative reviews until Telltale Games provided a much-needed patch.

Beyond Batman: The Telltale Series‘ impending launch for Children of Arkham, the game has three more episodes planned to round out the first season. In sequential order, there will be “New World Order,” followed by “Guardian of Gotham,” and then “City of Lights.” Naturally, since Batman: The Telltale Series has just put out the trailer for the second installment, more details regarding the synopses of the third, fourth, and fifth episodes are sure to come out as the year progresses.
