Batman: The Telltale Series Ep 3 Launch Date Revealed

Telltale Games officially reveals the release date for the third installment of its episodic story for DC Comics’ Dark Knight in Batman: The Telltale Series.

After beginning the journey as Batman this past August, fans have been eagerly awaiting news as to when Telltale Games would be delivering the next chapter in their latest episodic series. The monthly release schedule for Batman: The Telltale Series continues this month as the studio has finally revealed when players will be able to experience the third chapter in this first season.

In a news post on their website, Telltale Games has confirmed that Batman: The Telltale Series‘ third episode will launch digitally on October 25 for all current gen platforms. At this time, Telltale has not announced a release date for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions nor given a reason for the delay.

The next chapter is called New World Order and continues the narrative arc started last month by digging deeper into the mysterious group known as the Children of Arkham. The press release also contains a few additional pieces of information from season three, so fans that are sensitive to spoilers should beware.

New World Order also appears to take a closer look at many of Bruce’s relationships as well. Selina Kyle (AKA Catwoman) opens up about herself a bit more to Bruce while the newly elected mayor of Gotham City, Harvey Dent is going through somewhat of a identity crisis. Add in the devastation left behind in Gotham City in the wake of Penguin’s attack on live TV, and players should have plenty of things to try and balance before the final two episodes arrive before the end of the year.

For fans wanting to know more about the events of Episode 2: Children of Arkham, Telltale has also released the third episode of their spoiler reaction show, Batman Unmasked. In this episode, Internet personality Greg Miller sits down to discuss the events of Episode 2 with writer James Windeler, director Jon Stauder and voice actor for Harvey Dent, Travis Willingham.

Fans of physical media can purchase Batman: The Telltale Series at retail which does include the season pass, allowing players to download each episode as they’re released. While only Episode 1: Realm of Shadows is already on the disk, each remaining episode of the season will need to be downloaded, so players will need ensure they have have Internet access in order to play through the rest of the season.
