Watch Dogs 2 Trailer Showcases San Francisco Setting

Ubisoft officially releases a brand new trailer for its forthcoming open world title Watch Dogs 2, showcasing the game’s sprawling San Francisco setting.

Although Ubisoft has delayed the PC version of Watch Dogs 2 by two additional weeks, the developer still has a job to do when it comes to continuing to promote the forthcoming open world title. So, with this being the case, Ubisoft has now put out a brand new trailer today that features the game’s San Francisco setting and the areas surrounding the city.

As seen in the trailer below, fans of Watch Dogs 2 will be able to travel to tons of locations such as downtown San Francisco, Marin County, Silicon Valley, and Oakland, take part in a wide variety of activities, and can use different modes of transportation in the game’s depiction of the famous city. Speaking of vehicular travel, not only will players be able to drive cars, but also there are plenty of other options for getting around such as sailing, as well as off-roading with quads, dirt bikes, and even Jeeps.

Of course, as is to be expected from the follow-up to the original Watch Dogs, there will also be plenty of chances for fans to take advantage of protagonist Marcus Holloway‘s hacking abilities. Not to mention, Watch Dogs 2 affords players a solid selection of weaponry in the way of firearms, as the trailer above also displays a decent amount of gunplay action.

This most recent San Francisco trailer for Watch Dogs 2 expands upon Ubisoft’s recent release of a clip focusing on the open world title’s Zodiac Killer mission in which Marcus is tasked with tracking down the infamous and elusive serial killer who terrorized The Golden City back in 1969 and was never brought to justice. In addition to the mission itself, those who pre-order the game will also unlock an outfit including a t-shirt that reads “I Saw the Zodiac Killer.”

Should fans of Watch Dogs 2 enjoy the game’s new San Francisco trailer, then obviously Ubisoft has done its work correctly, and has helped to heap further hype upon the title. As it happens, the action-adventure title has already been predicted as being one of the most anticipated games of the holiday 2016 season.

Taking all of this into consideration, it’s safe to say that a lot of gamers looking forward to Watch Dogs 2 will want to absorb as much gameplay footage as possible in order to make an informed decision about whether or not they should purchase it on day one. Thankfully, fans can check out nearly an hour of in-game action of the entire Cyber Rider mission sequence from our hands-on preview to get an even better idea of what to expect from the final product.

Watch Dogs 2 is set to release on November 15, 2016 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and it will launch for PC on November 29, 2016.
