Skyrim Special Edition: 300 Giants vs 100 Dragons

Skyrim Special Edition: 300 Giants vs 100 Dragons

An ardent fan of Skyrim: Special Edition generates a large scale battle within Bethesda Softworks’ open world title, pitting 300 giants against 100 dragons.

One can presume there are plenty of fans who are currently getting to experience the fifth installment of The Elder Scrolls series for the first time thanks to the recent release of Skyrim: Special Edition, and most of those gamers are more than likely trying to level up fast in an attempt to survive in the fantasy-RPG. Of course, considering the fact that the original version of the open world title has been available since 2011, there are also lots of fans who are using the launch of Skyrim: Special Edition as more of a creative outlet instead of exploring and playing through all of the quests for the umpteenth time.

Take, for instance, the YouTuber and modder known as UpIsNotJump, who has decided to make Skyrim: Special Edition his personal playground for creating massive conflicts within the game. As a matter of fact, UpIsNotJump figured that fans would want to see which of the title’s largest enemies would come out on top in a battle by pitting an army of 300 giants against 100 dragons.

As seen in the video from UpIsNotJump below, the YouTuber sets the affair at Solitude, which is the capital city of both Haafingar Hold and all of the realm of Skyrim. While it would be incredibly easy to simply divulge whether or not the giant or dragon faction comes out on top, rather than spoil the fun, Skyrim: Special Edition fans would do well to watch the clip in full, as there are plenty of cool moments to be seen.

While UpIsNotJump’s battle featuring the battalion of giants versus the swarming horde of dragons in Skyrim: Special Edition is definitely impressive, it must be noted that the YouTuber won’t be able to crown himself as the first to mod a large scale war in the game. As a matter of fact, Cosmic Contrarian just recently made a video pitting 100 Dovah dragons against 1000 Imperial archers.

For those unaware, this isn’t UpIsNotJump’s first rodeo when it comes to modding elements of a Bethesda title, as the YouTuber has generated a plethora of videos related to its post-apocalyptic RPG Fallout 4. Interestingly enough, however, UpIsNotJump’s forte isn’t necessarily huge skirmishes, but instead, he’s quite talented when it comes to recreating filmed pieces of pop culture with the game, such as his Rick and Morty mod, which recontextualizes the best scenes from the titular characters’ animated show’s first season within Fallout 4‘s Wasteland.

Bearing all of this in mind, it’s safe to believe that this battle for Skyrim: Special Edition won’t be UpIsNotJump’s last effort. After all, there are plenty of difficult and deadly enemies in the fantasy title to set against one another beyond the enormous giants and dragons, as many will attest that fighting some foes like Draugr Death Overlords and Arch-Mages have ended with less than desirable results.

Skyrim: Special Edition is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
