Final Fantasy 13's Lightning Models Louis Vuitton

The Final Fantasy brand is one of the largest video game franchises in the world, but it’s not every day that you see it interacting with other non-video game properties. Today is one of those rare days and it’s quite the collaboration: Final Fantasy 13‘s Lightning is now a bona-fide Louis Vuitton model.
Fashion aficionado gamers may have raised an eyebrow earlier this week when they saw Final Fantasy 13’s Lightning show off some Louis Vuitton handbags and purses on Instagram, along with several different fashionable outfits. The digital ad shows her pull off some fierce acrobatic poses, each time with a different Louis Vuitton item.
The collaboration came to be after some work from Tetsayu Nomura, the main character designer for Final Fantasy 13, and Square Enix’s Visual Works. Lightning’s apparel comes courtesy of the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2016 fashion line.
We’re not entirely sure how large the demographic is between fans of Final Fantasy 13 and people who purchase Louis Vuitton items, but whatever that niche market is, hopefully the Instagram post finds them.
