Final Fantasy 15's Prompto Sends Special Message to Fan

Robbie Daymond, the voice actor for Final Fantasy 15‘s Prompto, makes a little girl’s Christmas extra special by recording a personalized, in-character holiday greeting for her.
Many around the world are currently wrapped up in the holiday spirit as 2016 draws to a close, particularly the millions of Final Fantasy 15 fans who just received the game’s Christmas-themed Holiday Pack DLC. While this was an undeniably pleasant end-of-year treat from Square Enix to all players, one of the game’s voice actors went the extra mile to ensure that a young Final Fantasy 15 fan had an unforgettable Christmas this year.
A Redditor by the name of nobo515 recently revealed on the Final Fantasy 15 subreddit that they asked Prompto voice actor Robbie Daymond what his rate was to record a short Christmas message for their daughter, Euphrates, as the game’s bubbly photographer was her favorite character. But rather than sending back a quote, Daymond went one better and simply sent the recorded message to Euphrates’ father a few days later.
In the Christmas message itself, Daymond brings his best Prompto voice to the table in wishing Euphrates a “very Merry Christmas” before concluding in a very Prompto-like manner by singing a snippet of the Final Fantasy fanfare theme (mixed in with some Jingle Bells). Given that Euphrates was described by her father has being “absolutely in love with Prompto”, this message from Daymond proved to be the perfect Christmas gift for the young Final Fantasy 15 fan, so much so that she was moved to tears upon hearing it.

With Blizzard giving Overwatch fans five free loot boxes as a surprise end-of-year present and now Daymond’s heartwarming message to Euphrates, it certainly appears that 2016 is going to end on a gaming-related high, especially with the slate of great games in the pipeline for 2017.
There’s much to love about Prompto, but it’s not just Euphrates who is a huge fan of the blonde-haired photographer. The character proved to be one of the most talked about aspects in Final Fantasy 15, so much so that Square Enix is planning to give him his own special panel at the 2017 Game Developers Conference. While the event won’t take place for quite some time, players and fans can expect to learn more about Prompto’s role in the game, as well as on how the character enhanced the overall Final Fantasy 15 experience.
As 2017 draws ever closer, gamers can also expect more Final Fantasy 15 content to arrive soon, starting with the first paid story DLC pack Episode Gladiolus. With additional story DLC packs for Ignis and Prompto set to follow, there is still more fun and adventures to be had with the RPG’s resident chef and photographer respectively, something that fans – particularly Euphrates – will undoubtedly look forward to.
