Ghost Recon: Wildlands Unlock Time and Download Size

Ghost Recon: Wildlands Unlock Time and Download Size

Today, Ubisoft has officially provided fans of Ghost Recon: Wildlands with the download sizes and exact times as to when each region of the world will finally get to play the eagerly awaited open world tactical shooter. Of course, the unlock times and file sizes for Ghost Recon: Wildlands are going to be different for each of the three platforms on which the game can be experienced, so follow along below to learn the full details.

Firstly, depending on fans’ preferred platform for Ghost Recon: Wildlands – PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, that is – the game’s download size is going to be roughly between 40 and 42 GB. As it happens, pre-loading for the title has been available for about a few days now for PC and consoles, so most fans who have already laid their money down for Wildlands ought to be able to jump into the action relatively quickly once the game goes live.

When it comes to Ghost Recon: Wildlands‘ unlock times, as seen in the above image, the details vary somewhat. For instance, the Uplay PC version, PS4, and Xbox One iteration of the game are set to become available at 12:00 AM in fans’ local time on March 7, save for Japan, which receives the game on March 9 for all platforms. As far as the Steam version is concerned, though, the UK/EU will have Steam copies of Wildlands available at 6:00 AM CET.

Beyond the availability times and download sizes for Ghost Recon: Wildlands‘ base game, it’s important to note that there will also be a couple of day one patches that will take up some hard drive space as well. As a matter of fact, the updates on the first day of Wildlands‘ availability weigh in at approximately 3 GB in total.

Since Ghost Recon: Wildlands is considered by many as one of the most highly anticipated video games of 2017, there’s a good chance that the game’s servers might be under a heavy load once it finally goes live. Thankfully, though, should that occur, Wildlands can be enjoyed offline in the single-player mode until the tactical shooter’s potential online issues get resolved.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands is set to launch on March 7, 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
