Destiny: Rise of Iron Teases New Raid with Trailer

Game developer Bungie releases an official teaser trailer for the forthcoming Wrath of the Machine raid in Destiny‘s latest expansion known as Rise of Iron.

Although plenty of Guardians are surely enjoying all that Destiny: Rise of Iron currently has to offer at the moment, be it the expansion’s wealth of new Exotic weapons, or its Nightfall Strike for this week dubbed Wretched Eye, it’s safe to presume that most fans are eagerly anticipating DLC’s new raid. With this surely being the case, Bungie has now released a brief trailer for the action-RPG’s Wrath of the Machine raid in order to give fans a better idea of what can be expected from the six-player adventure.

As seen in the trailer for Destiny: Rise of Iron‘s raid below, viewers are taken to the SIVA-infected Plaguelands, which happens to be a new playable area in the science fiction shooter’s expansion. Interestingly enough, it seems as if Wrath of the Machine begins in a public area in a patrol zone, similar to the game’s original raid known as Vault of Glass.

Per the teaser above, Destiny fireteams are going to have to make their way below the earth’s surface in order to fight against Fallen enemies known as Devil Splicers, as they try to defeat the infestation of baddies. Furthermore, if the footage is any indication for all of Wrath of the Machine’s offerings, then fans might want to expect jumping puzzles as well, such as the one found on Felwinter Peak.

Before Guardians get ready to charge into Wrath of the Machine, though, Bungie has revealed that players should at least have a Light Level of 360, as the challenges within Destiny: Rise of Iron‘s raid are being promoted as the most taxing ones the game has offered thus far. Nevertheless, preparation doesn’t seem to be a problem for at least one Guardian, as there have been reports of a player discovering new gear that exceeds the current maximum cap limit for Light Levels, leading some to question whether or not the find was intentional.

Should other Destiny players not be so lucky as to find such powerful weapons and gear, there are always other ways to buff up for Wrath of the Machine’s release date tomorrow at 10:00 AM PDT. For instance, fans can utilize an incredibly fast and easy method to raise their Light Level by taking advantage of the Will of Crota strike in the game by farming Omnigul.

In the meantime, should Guardians be completely ready for Destiny: Rise of Iron‘s Wrath of the Machine raid, there are plenty of other quests, activities, and features that offer more than the typical story line of missions, like Archon’s Forge. Of course, if players have already blazed through all that the game’s newest expansion has put forth so far, the only thing left to do is patiently wait for Wrath of the Machine to hit early tomorrow morning.

Destiny: Rise of Iron‘s Wrath of the Machine raid drops for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One tomorrow, September 23, 2016 at 10:00 AM PDT.
