With the holiday season upon us, the Black Friday sales have officially begun to bring deep discounts for the video game industry’s latest and greatest pieces of hardware and software. Of course, with there being so many places to begin digging for deals and myriad products from which to choose, we decided to give gaming fans a head start on their shopping this year by compiling the best Black Friday video game deals out there.
While some companies like Sony decided to air a weird ad to promote its Black Friday sales in the PlayStation Store, others have taken a more traditional route by simply announcing some of the discounts it has to offer for the consumer event. For instance, Microsoft’s Director of Programming for Xbox Live, Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb, simply announced the Xbox One deals for Black Friday, revealing discounts for the Xbox One S console.

Of course, should one wish to postpone their shopping and wait until Cyber Monday, there could be other markdowns that rival or undercut the prices for Black Friday.
With plenty of people will surely getting some of their shopping done early this year thanks to Black Friday and Cyber Monday’s reductions in cost on hardware and software, it will be interesting to see which company comes out on top when it comes to sales and units moved. Last year, Black Friday 2015 was the most successful in Sony’s history thanks to more shoppers purchasing the tech firm’s consoles than ever before. As a matter of fact, after all of the financial numbers had been crunched, the PS4 was the most popular console for the consumer holiday last year.
Naturally, with so many Black Friday deals to take into account for 2016, it’s really anyone’s guess as to which companies will benefit the most from the sales event.
