Without any further ado, curious consumers can browse our choices for must-have Pokemon products.

Pokemon Sun & Moon Double Pack ($89.99)

Starting off with one of the more obvious choices, the most recent installments in the core Pokemon series are well worth receiving. Of course, choosing which version of the game, Pokemon Sun or Pokemon Moon, can be a challenge. So, why not give the gift of duality and ensure that there won’t be a single new monster on the Alola region that the recipient can’t add to their Pokedex?

Our review of Pokemon Sun and Moon provided a glowing recommendation to newcomers and veterans alike. In that light, these games are an absolute no-brainer for any Pokemon fan that doesn’t already have them.

Pokemon Sun and Moon New Nintendo 3DS XL ($199.99)

While the newest games are obvious pickups for anyone hoping to appease their closest compadres, the next step for any wannabe Pokemon Master is unquestionably some updated hardware. Fortunately, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have that base covered with a limited edition New Nintendo 3DS XL  featuring the Legendary Solgaleo and Lunala from Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon emblazoned upon the unit.

Featuring a sleek black look with silver outlines of the mythical Pokes accenting the ominous shade, this is one of the nicer gifts that one could provide a Pokemon fan. Given its limited edition status, however, it can be a little challenging to find, but well worth the price of purchase for those willing to shill out the extra cash – or be fortunate enough to find it in its natural habitat.

Pokemon Sun and Moon Z-Ring ($29.99)

Despite Nintendo refusing to move into any sort of Virtual Reality field as of this writing, the company has refused to veer away from tapping into what it bills as “4th dimension” initiatives. The Z-Ring peripheral is one such example of this, allowing fans to connect the device to their games and actually experience the power of the franchise’s supped up bracelet for themselves – or, at least, some flashing colors and sound effects that coincide with the on-screen action.

It may not be the most practical item to haul around, but it makes for a fun option for those hoping to add a little bit more to their Sun and Moon experience. Besides, it comes with an adorable little Pikachu action figure, and the mantra of ‘catching ’em all’ has to start somewhere.

Pokemon Collector’s Edition Guidebook ($129.99)

Let’s preface this item with the fact that it isn’t for the weak of heart. This collector’s edition strategy guide is for those looking to adorn their bookshelf with something that, at least aesthetically, outshines the likes of Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged. Those hoping to learn more about the Alola region, the trainers they’ll be battling, and the Pokemon that fill it will be hard fought to find a better strategy guide than the one listed here, let alone a kit that features all of the doodads that this one does.

Included within this set is a hardcover strategy guide, a 240-page journal, a limited edition rollerball pen, a lithograph set, a full-sized bookmark, removable decals, a double-sided poster, and an elegant box to store it all in. Indeed, this piece of literature is for the biggest of fans.

Pokemon Monopoly ($44.99)

Depending on who is asked, Monopoly is one of the greatest boardgames to exist or the easiest way to cause immeasurable damage to any relationship. Regardless of this, the Pokemon variant of Monopoly is sure to put a smile on the face of anyone receiving it – at least until things start getting heated mid-way through a play session. Plus, it’s one of the more affordable items on this list to boot!

Focusing on the first generation of Pocket Monsters, the board game takes players through the hustle and bustle of the Kanto region from Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue. Featuring some awesome looking metallic tokens of Pikachu, Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Eevee, and Jigglypuff, any gamer that enjoys the premise of Monopoly is sure to find delight in the ability to take on the Kanto gym leaders in a new way.
