Sneak Peek at the Uncharted 4 Nathan Drake Figure

A new collectible Nathan Drake figure is coming in Spring 2016, and its maker NECA has shown off a sneak peek of the figure based on Drake from Uncharted 4.
Collectibles company and manufacturer NECA is creating a new collectible figure to go alongside the release of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End this spring, featuring the game’s main character Nathan Drake. While the figure has yet to go through the entire production process, it appears that the first model has been finished. NECA showed off the Uncharted 4 figure on Twitter.

NECA has not given an exact release date or pricing information. Uncharted 4 was set to release March 18, 2016 but Naughty Dog announced last week that the game would be delayed again (it was originally set for a November 2015 release) back to April 26, 2016. This figure will most likely release around the same time as the game, Naughty Dog’s last entry in the Uncharted series to feature Nathan Drake.
The shot of NECA’s Nathan Drake figure is clearly taken from the back and they have yet to reveal a front shot of the fictional treasure hunter, but NECA is basing this figure off the Uncharted 4 model of Nathan Drake specifically. Expect him to look like the older, weathered Drake from the trailers and screenshots released for A Thief’s End. While based on the same in-game model, this figure coming from NECA is different from the Nathan Drake 12″ statue that will come with Uncharted 4‘s Libertalia Collector’s Edition.
NECA is a well-known collectibles and toy manufacturer who has created toys, collectibles, and apparel based on franchises from TV, movies, and video games. They are the makers of Halo‘s Needler Replica and a Half-Life Gordon Freeman figure. Other franchises the company has created collectibles for include Rocksteady’s Arkham series, Bioshock Infinite, Gears of War, Portal, and many of Blizzard’s games. This is the first time NECA has created product for the Uncharted franchise.
Uncharted 4 is one of Game Rant’s most anticipated games of 2016 and is reportedly just one of many major hit games Sony is planning to release next year in its game lineup. The game’s multiplayer beta wrapped up earlier this month, which was received positively by fans in general.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is scheduled to release April 26, 2015 exclusively on PlayStation 4.
