Fallout 4 Player Destroys Vertibird Using Deathclaw

One particular Fallout 4 player captures themselves destroying a vertibird in the game not with guns, but by hitting a Deathclaw into it using a baseball bat.

Since its release last November, players have accomplished many extraordinary feats while exploring post-apocalyptic Boston in Fallout 4. However, the latest one really has to be seen to be believed, as it involves a vault dweller hitting a Deathclaw into a vertibird using a baseball bat, causing the vertibird to explode in the process.

It’s really an awe-inspiring sight, and just goes to show the ridiculousness that can happen in Fallout 4 even without the use of its many mods. That being said, this moment would have been even more entertaining, and much more hilarious, had the player been using one of the various mods aimed at Deathclaws. Imagine if a “Macho Man” Randy Savage Deathclaw was knocked into the vertibird, or better yet, a Thomas the Tank Engine Deathclaw.

At any rate, it’s a pretty impressive and rare feat. Not often are players going to even have the opportunity to whack a Deathclaw into a vertibird, so it’s lucky that footage of this event was captured. See the Deathclaw blow up a vertibird following a decisive hit with a baseball bat in the image below.

The odds of the above happening are pretty slim, which makes it all the more impressive. While some other accomplishments by Fallout 4 players may have taken more time, such as the player that beat Fallout 4 without killing anything, there’s no denying the immediate gratification of seeing a Deathclaw used as a projectile to destroy a vertibird.

This is one of the more entertaining feats that a Fallout 4 player has captured, though there have been many others, and the game’s penchant for the unexpected to happen seems to be a large part of its popularity and appeal. It’s safe to say that for a lesser game, two months after its release, we probably wouldn’t even be still discussing it.

Even though it’s been nearly two months since Fallout 4 hit store shelves, it remains one of the most popular games in the industry. In 2016, expect even more ridiculous events in the world of Fallout 4 to be captured by quick-thinking players and shared with the masses. Perhaps upcoming expansions and new mods for the game will add even more possibilities.
