QuakeCon 2015 kicks off today, and in addition to the convention celebrating its 20th year, Bethesda‘s bringing with it a few things attendees are sure to enjoy. The studio previously revealed that Fallout 4 will make an appearance, complete with a new demo, and earlier today, the Fallout Anthology was announced, which brings several Fallout games together in one mini-nuke package.
Other announcements and reveals will undoubtedly come in the following days, but for those that are unable to attend the event this year, the Elder Scrolls developer still has something fun in store. Today, the publisher has announced a QuakeCon 2015 themed sale spread across the PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
A post on the Bethesda Blog detailed the now-in-progress sale, which includes everything from Fallout and Dishonored, to Doom and Wolfenstein. As the developer put it, “this year’s QuakeCon sale offers something for everybody. And this year everybody takes on new meeting.”
The Steam specific sales start today and last until Sunday, July 26. And while a ton of Bethesda and id Software games have received discounts, each day between now and Sunday are specifically themed towards a specific franchise. The schedule is as follows:
Additionally, there is a QuakeCon bundle that will become available starting tomorrow. For $99.99, interested parties can get their hands on 34 games, including Dishonored: Game of the Year Edition, Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition, Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Legendary Edition. That’s a ridiculous amount of games for the price, and each one can take dozens of hours to complete – long enough to hold someone over until Fallout 4 this November.
Lastly, if you’re not a fan of buying games through Steam, Bethesda has additional sales through Amazon, Direct2Drive, GameStop, and the Humble store.
Unfortunately, none of the sales on the console side have anything close to the QuakeCon bundle, but they’re still much appreciated, regardless.
The PlayStation deals, which conclude on July 28, include:
Xbox deals, meanwhile, end on July 27:
The PlayStation and Xbox sales may look a bit lackluster by comparison, but Bethesda advises everyone to check the respective store fronts periodically, as there could be even more games on sale that weren’t specifically mentioned in the post. Taking a quick look at the PS Store doesn’t reveal anything dramatically different, but that could change as QuakeCon progresses.
Are any of the above deals to your liking? Or have you already played all the Bethesda games you’ve wanted – save for Fallout 4? There are a couple of mods for Fallout: New Vegas and Skyrim on the way. Maybe now would be a good time to revisit them.
Speaking of, Fallout 4 is out on November 10, 2015 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
